Join Northwest Science Writers Association for BioBlitz 2023!. We are counting nature (plant and animal species) in Seattle's Seward Park in South Seattle as part of the international City Nature Challenge. RSVP here!

We are meeting at the Audubon Center at Seward Park (5902 Lake Washington Blvd S) at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023. After a brief orientation, teams of two will fan out across the park to count, count, count. For the next two hours, we'll photograph and log all plant and animal sightings into the iNaturalist app (note: please download this app ahead of time; a tutorial is available here).

Then, we'll head to Lottie's Lounge in Columbia City (4900 Rainier Ave S) to raise a glass to nature and share our experience. Adult nonmembers are most welcome to join!
