In a "Science in the City" talk at the Pacific Science Center, Caitlin Bever and Adam Akullian will discuss “Portrait of an Epidemic: Mathematical Modeling in Modern Day Epidemiology.” These two scientists from the Institute for Disease Modeling at Intellectual Ventures construct computer models to guide global efforts toward the elimination and control of infectious diseases, such as HIV and malaria.
