University of Oregon biologist and brain scientist Phil Washbourne studies how synapses form in zebrafish. In his Quack Chats pub talk, he will describe his latest research and detail how it potentially could guide new treatments for brain defects that underlie problems in social interaction, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia.
