Seattle author Eric Scigliano will be presenting his latest book, The Big Thaw, complete with pictures, this Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Third Place Books, Seward Park, at 7pm: https://www.thirdplacebooks.com/event/eric-scigliano-big-thaw-ancient-carbon-modern-science-and-race-save-world.
It's a lovely bookstore, with a fine pub to repair to afterward. If you don't want to drive, the #50 bus goes right there from the Columbia City and Othello light-rail stations.
