Naked City Brewery
8564 Greenwood Ave N.

NSWA is partnering with The People’s Science to put on an interactive workshop and write-a-thon for effectively communicating science to the public. They’ll be coming to Seattle later this month as a part of their national tour, and we’re looking for both scientists and communicators to get involved!

If you’re a scientist or researcher, sign up to be a participant. You’ll learn how to better translate your research for a lay audience and get hands-on guidance from coaches to refine your writing.

If you’re a writer, editor, PIO, or other communicator, sign up to be a coach. You’ll polish your science communication skills in a special training session and then guide participants through the process.

The festivities will be held at Naked City Brewery, so there will be no shortage of food, drinks, or fun to be had! Just make sure to get your name on the list by Wednesday, July 25. Space is limited; first-come first-served. Find out more at
