Geraldine DeRuiter, the Everywhereist, described her journey as a blogger, from just a few hits a day to world domination (or something like that) for NSWA members and guests at our monthly meeting on Feb. 18 at University House. View her presentation.
Like any writer, she endured her share of rejection letters before finding her groove. She recently covered her experience at Dan Le Noir restaurant in London, detailing the process of guessing what you’re eating. In the past, Geraldine also wrote about having brain surgery to remove a tumor.
The Everywhereist has been featured on “best of” lists from TIME, Forbes and The Independent.
