This Northwest Association for Biomedical Research Conference is appropriate for biomedical research and communications professsionals, faculty and staff of organizations which conduct biomedical research.

Speakers include experts in science communication and culture change: Zachary Knowling (Quinn Thomas; marketing communications and public relations), Ken Gordon and Jen Wroblewski (NWABR), Anna Johnson (Pacific Science Center) and Venus Rekow (NeuralShift).
Attendees will:

  • Build personal and organizational capacity to advocate for research internally and externally.
  • Develop a broader understanding of how people learn and retain content.
  • Personally reflect upon and develop a well-crafted response to the question, "What do you do?"
  • Learn how experts from different groups within an organization can come together to create impactful public-facing messages.
