Branching out from science, Shaun McGillis @skmcg writes about a Portland State University program that brings together Master of Fine Art students and kids from Martin Luther King Jr. school. Learning from each other, the graduate and middle school students engage in social practice art, creating works that reflect their culture and community and turn their school into a “living museum.”
