From Nepal, Joanne Silberner has been reporting on burns and burn care. Her latest story in Public Radio International focuses on bride burning—a particularly horrifying way to punish women. Joanne talks to a woman who is resolved to move away from the husband who burned her, supported by counseling from a nongovernmental organization. The series debuted in Global Health Now, which did a Q&A with Joanne. @jsilberner
