NSWA EVENT - Science Trivia Night

Yes, neither rain nor snow nor deadly RNA virus can keep NSWA members from completing six rounds of online trivia fun. Building on the success of our spring social events in 2018 and 2019, this NSWA-organized quiz game will be hosted on Zoom by NSWA board member James Gaines. Come show off your knowledge of arcane facts about science, science fiction, science writing, and geeky music by answering quiz questions created just for us.
Teams of five or six will be formed by random draw, so you'll get to chat and have fun with friends old and new. This is a BYOB event, but consumption of your liquid social stimulant of choice is encouraged! As is wearing of crazy shirts, hats, and any other goofy accessories that make you smile.
Note: capacity for this event is limited to 40 players, so please register in advance to secure your spot. NSWA members may register one non-member guest as a teammate. Add your name to the waitlist if the event is full—we may run a second trivia night if demand warrants.
Entry fee: This event is free for both NSWA members and their guests.
When: Tuesday, April 28, 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Please use the Zoom link sent to you after registration to join the event at 7:15 pm to ensure that your audio and video are working properly, get your team assignment, and chat with your teammates before the games begin.
Where: Zoom video meeting. A link will be sent on April 26 to all who have registered for the event.
