Humans and other organisms all require healthy physical habitats to prosper. But overdevelopment and climate change are eroding those habitats, and thus our future prosperity. Most of us exist only as passive "consumers", letting the government or other organizations fix such problems. But what if we choose to be directly involved, making individual contributions, and joining together with public and private organizations that preserve and restore habitat? Could this create more citizen engagement and a sense of shared responsibility where together, we create a lever large enough to tip the world back into balance?

Enjoy fascinating and stimulating presentations as well as friendly conversations around the big tables at Bickersons Brewhouse in the covered, open-air beer garden - new to Ballard this year!  All ages welcome! Food available next door at Mean Sandwich or bring your own take out.
