Talk Science to Me: Podcast Workshop
Calling all current and aspiring science podcasters: Join veteran NPR producer and host of the What it Takes podcast, Alice Winkler, at an engaging workshop that will explore how to integrate sound and story into a compelling podcast. Winkler will share examples from her own work, and provide advice on clips provided by campus podcasters.
* Jane Greenhalgh is a senior producer on NPR’s Science Desk and a two-time winner of the National Academies of Science Communication Award – the highest honor in science journalism.
* Alice Winkler is an independent audio producer, writer, host and storyteller. She is a former senior producer with NPR and host of the What it Takes podcast.
Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
