Yes, Elizabeth Sharpe interviewed a scientist named Fowler who does chicken research. The project is serious, though: testing backyard chickens for Salmonella. Elizabeth is communication director for the University of Washington Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences and has her own family chicken story to tell.
