Ellen Kuwana (@EllenKuwana) wrote the articles in Seattle Children’s latest nursing annual report highlighting how the institution’s nursing staff is working to improve care for patients. Kuwana’s stories in the report highlight the nurses at Children’s who have, for example, contributed to the patient-centered design of the hospital’s new building, developed a noninvasive method to test infants for urinary tract infections, and even procured hair-care products appropriate for hospitalized patients with textured tresses.
