NSWA partnering with The People’s Science on July 29 at Naked City Brewery to put on an interactive workshop and write-a-thon for effectively communicating science to the public.
Scientists and researchers learned how to better translate research for a lay audience and got hands-on guidance from coaches to refine their writing. Writers and editor polished their science communication skills in a special training session and then guided participants through the process.
