Picture of Ayana Elizabeth Johnson next to her book, What If We Get It Right?

Join us at Elliot Bay Books on Thursday, October 3rd at 6:00 PM to hear author Ayana Elizabeth Johnson talk about her newest book, What If We Get It Right?, which explores positive visions of our climate future and how we might get there. Special guests the Oshima Brothers will also be performing.

Update: Afterwards, please join us at a private home downtown to continue the conversation! We’ve decided to join forces with Jordan Selig, Brady Walkinshaw (CEO of Grist and owner of Seattle’s The Stranger), and Dr. Maya Tolstoy, Dean of UW College of the Environment and a marine geophysicist. After-talk drinks and dessert will be held at Walkinshaw’s home at 1521 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle at 7:30 PM. Because it is a private residence and space is limited, we’re asking NSWA members to RVSP ahead of time by emailing taylor@noisycreek.com to reserve a spot. (And if you RSVP for this event, please plan to attend.)
