Pediatric Mental & Behavioral Health Research Summit

Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in B Wayne Hughes Building (Building Cure) McKinstry Auditorium. Post event reception to follow for those interested.

The summit will highlight Seattle Children’s research presenting new discoveries and proven interventions designed to save youth lives. Through a mix of scientific presentations, panel discussions and professional networking, the summit aims to foster the partnerships necessary to move from evidence to action.

The summit keynote speaker is Jeff Bridge, PhD, an epidemiologist and director of the Center for Suicide Prevention and Research in the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His research focuses on the epidemiology of suicide and suicidal behavior in young people; neurocognitive vulnerability to suicidal behavior; screening for suicide risk in medical and school settings; and improving the quality of care for suicidal youth.

A virtual option is available for those who cannot attend in person.  This event qualifies for CME2. Questions? please email SCRI@seattlechildrens.org directly.
