Among the facts we learned at Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) – anyone can visit the library, located in Georgetown, to view more than 3 million historic photos, manuscripts, maps, etc. Appointment required. AND fun fact #2: the floor in the Atrium is made up of two by fours on end, feet facing up.
Members and guests met on May 7 at one of our new, bi-monthly science nights out at this special visit to the Museum of History and Industry.
We arranged a special overview for NSWA members with Tara McCauley, Education and Programs Manager at the museum, who introduced us to the building and a couple of favorite artifacts before we set out to explore.
After the tour, we met across the street at Cask and Trotter for some post-event socializing.
