David Berger, visual artist, food writer, and science reporter, has a book about his real passion: Pacific razor clams. In Razor Clams, Buried Treasure of the Pacific Northwest, David explores the history, economic contributions, and cultural impact of the elusive bivalves, with practical tips for catching them and recipes for when you finally do. The clams themselves weigh in about the book for the University of Washington Press trailer. (David has an event if you’re in Ocean Shores on March 4, 2018.)
