New member Stephanie Warren Drimmer just published a science book for kids, “Ultimate Book of the Future: Incredible, Ingenious, and Totally Real Tech That Will Change Life as You Know It.” For ages 8-12, the book covers the cutting-edge technologies that will build the cities of the future, fuel space travel, provide entertainment and save the world. The book also highlights “future fails” — technologies that people of the past assumed would be ubiquitous by now but which since fizzled or never came to be.
