How does our neighborhood affect our health? Rebecca Hughes writes about a summit that brought researchers and representatives from King County Metro, public health departments, Bike Works, and other organizations together to talk about using data to learn how our built environment affects conditions such as obesity and diabetes. Rebecca is senior media consultant for Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute (KPWHRI). The summit was part of the Moving to Health project, which she wrote about in 2017.
